YAY! A post!

Yeah, I've been slacking on this, I know. Well, since I last wrote our basement flooded, I hit my face into a wall, we finished painting our basement, put carpet in our basement, started moving into our basement, I went skiing, I got to sit in an ambulance, and got my face got all scraped up. I'm thinking that maybe I should have made a post earlier. Oh, and Trevor got his mission call! Can't forget that... :) Alright, let's go into the tiniest bit more detail, shall we?? First, the basement. On morning in January, I woke up at 6:30 to the sounds of Mom and Dad's voices downstairs. The lights were on, and mostly I was annoyed because I still had another 15 minutes of sleep beckoning me! I swung me feet out of bed to go turn off the light, and SPLASH! Something on our water softener had broken, and the basement now had a few inches of water in it. Yeah... Some books got ruined, and a few of my stuffed animals. They took all the carpet out, we redid the basement. To some extent... We didn't move rooms around, but we repainted and re-textured and re-carpeted. It feels so nice down there! I just got moved into my room again a few days ago. And the past few months have been full of face injuries for me. One morning I was getting ready to go to the temple with the young women. I heard a knock on the door and so I turned off my lamp and started to walk out of my temporary room (the office) I tripped on something, and hit my face on the corner of the wall. I had a bloody nose, and my face was all swollen. And then on Monday of this week I went skiing with Katie and Brayden and Jeremy and Mary. As I was going down one of the hills, I tripped and slid on my face.
It's so pretty, eh? I know. Anyway, Christopher got home from his mission, and I'm wondering when they're going to get engaged. O.o And today was Brayden Bekker day. Long story. Closing night of When in Rome was a few nights ago, and that was kinda sad. And now it's on to spring break. Hurrah! Anyway, I'll try to update more often, as long as you guys keep reading. :)
