Again?
So, Julius has been acting sick lately. Really cat? You have to get sick? Anyway, we took him to the vet today. The diagnosis? Liver disease. Seriously? As some of you may know, my other baby, Blossom, had liver disease a few years back. After lots of force feeding, TLC, and some magical herbal medicine, she got better. Julius doesn't seem to need us to force the food down his throat. Yet... Hopefully not ever. :) He seems to eat it okay. His pills, on the other hand, are an entirely different story. *sighs* Maybe we'll get better with time. So, I'm hoping that Julius too will be able to get better. The vet said that if the blood test comes back tomorrow, and Julius has a low white blood cell count (like Blossom did) that he's going to write a medical paper about it! (P.S. That was a joke...) Anyway, apparently this isn't a common condition, so he's a bit baffled that it would happen to 2 cats in the same household... Speaking of Julius though, I'm going to try to get him to eat some more :P Cross your fingers for us!

Cat Person
Yup. I'm definitely, undeniably a cat person. Surprise surprise! :) Now, some people may ask, "Why cats? Dogs play with you. They're more loyal than cats. They're cuter!" (personally, I think that that's just a personal opinion. I think cats are MUCH cuter than dogs!) Well, have you ever tried to snuggle with a dog? First off, they smell. Maybe not your dog, but most dogs I've seen smell. Ew! Snuggle time is suddenly much less enjoyable... My cats smell like my Wall Flower currently. Creamy Nutmeg. Mmmm! Makes cuddling with them much more fun. Plus, cats tend to be softer. Well, at least indoor cats tend to be softer. They feel like little puff balls. Who doesn't want to sit down and pet a puffball? Also, I like how cats have a mind of their own. They don't let other people push them around! Can we say great role models anybody? Though, admittedly, this can get annoying when trying to break them of bad habits... But never mind that! And I just love how vibrant their personalities are! Now, I could probably write for a long time about how great cats are, and bore you with my kittie stories. But, since I have to go shower, and I don't want to bore you, I'll just stop here. :) Cat's are great companions. Not saying I don't love dogs, because I do, I'm just, well, a cat person!
P.S. Check out my new signature and the cool new post font!!
Feelings
Waiting for laundry to be done, so I'm writing this post. Anyway, I've decided that being a teenager really sucks for everyone involved. But what can we do about it? Nothing really, but smile and hope that there's something better when you reach adulthood. Probably not. But what's life without a little hope? Haha! :D Also, secrets. All of a sudden they're a big part of my life. People keep them from me, I keep them from them, and it's all good. Only a select few know my innermost secrets. My special club? All three cats, my therapist (Bedtime Bunny), Beth (my journal), and, of course, God. Thank goodness I know I can always rely on Him, right? :) Feelings. Sometimes it's hard to hide them. Guess this one also goes with secrets. :| Trying to be what people expect of me isn't always easy. I listen to my friends, but I'm rather reluctant to talk to my friends. I like it when things are at least semi-under my control. I don't like giving the wheel to others... Is this a fault maybe? Probably. *sighs* Dryer just stopped. :) Soryr for the cryptic (and maybe slightly depressing) post. This is just what's on my mind right now. :) I'll try to find something happier to write about later to lighten up the mood...

I am baaack!
Sorry that I've been gone so long. Life's been busy. As you may have noticed, my blog got a new look! It seems to fit me more now. :) Anyway, I have to go now, but I'll leave with a promise to post often.
